This is probably one of the most well known gadget blogs out on the internet today. While this blog will give a some great information on new and upcoming inventions and gadgets, it rarely gives you personal reviews of products. There is a Gizmodo review of certain products but this does not count as an average persons view of a product. Also Gizmodo covers a lot of other topics. These topics may or may not be gadget related.

This blog is of the short and sweet style. Most people will find it’s information relevant to everyday life. Unlike Gizmodo.com this blog covers mostly only gadgets. While you will find random posts on company mergers and take overs as well a few personal employee posts, you will for the most part find solid information on new products hitting the market. The products reviewed in this blog are actually meant for the public.

This blog is a great source of news. It features a stream of news regarding product releases, product bugs, and company news. It contains very few ads and is easy to navigate. If you are looking for a good RSS feed for your gadget news, you should consider this site. The wide news categories are easily laid out for viewers to review archived posts on their favorite companies or gadget types.

Engadget.com
Right up there with Gizmodo.com, this is another extremely popular gadget site. For every day consumers this site is recommended more so then Gizmodo.com. The information is relevant to the market and the posts are strictly on gadgets and gadget companies. Unlike Ubergizmo.com the site design is attractive and effective. You will find a lot of great information on cell phone reviews and other products on this site.

Switched.com
This site/blog is more focused around gadget news and technology news. While it does contain information on particular gadgets, most people will find it more news oriented. The posts on actual products on this site tend to be on weird technology or technology which is not accessible to the general public. While this does tend to give people information on what types of things to expect coming up, it does not give a good idea of what is available now.

This is a great site for a mix of information. It contains good information on new gadgets coming out as well as reviews on gadgets that will be released. It also contains news on different gadgets and their companies. The site is well constructed and has several domains to cover each subject. If you are looking for news on super advanced technology there is some here but it is not the main focus of the blog.

Slashgear.com
Another well rounded gadget blog. Slashgear.com offers a mix of information including advanced technology in a number of categories. It contains good information on products on the market now and how these products have been tested. The great thing about this blog is that it is updated everyday. For daily news readers this will be a great addition to your RSS feed.

While this blog contains some interesting stories and good information on products released or to be released, it is loaded with ads. Navigate this site is a bit of a challenge, it contains so many ads that you might just find your self on another page after too long. If you do manage to navigate it unhindered you will find a lot of video and picture content as well as well written stories/news.

This is a truly great site. It reviews products that are truly innovative. While not all the product reviews on this site are meant for super tech geeks, it contains reviews on products that just make every day life easier. You will find a few stories about super technology products in it as well. The list of innovative products reviewed on this site is extensive. There is not much news on this site about tech company activity though.

Coolest-gadgets.com
While this site is pretty ad heavy it has a much better lay out then Techeblog.com. It contains reviews on new gadgets (some non-electronic) that are useful for everyday life. Isn’t that what gadgets are suppose to do? You won’t find very much news on this site. Nor will you find very many stories on advanced technology on this site. The lay out of this site is pretty easy to follow and users will find it easy to review archived posts.

Google Nexus One Cell Better Than Iphone?

Google is trying to take Apple back to the 1980’s. The good news is the competition between Google and Apple will produce better technology and have more competitive prices, so the consumer is the real winner.
The Google Nexus One will be unlocked so it can be used for any carrier. This is something the Iphone (Must have ATT) is not doing.
The price for the Google unlocked cell phone is in the $500 price range.
One reason and the biggest why the Google phone is better than the Iphone is it holds at charge for at least 24 hours, and maybe more.
Dont think though you will have an installed app for Itunes on this phone.

Is Staples Going Out Of Business, Website Down?

Staples recently updated their site. Some new elements made their site nicer, but the website still has ways to go. Today, the website was down most of the business day. This is a very bad sign that there are problems in the IT department. For a major company like Staples to have their website down more than an hour, it either means the IT department doesn’t know how host their site correctly, or there is ILL communications between the IT and business departments.
This isnt good news if you were thinking of buying their stock for 2010. This is a warning Staples is going to have a rough 2010 year.
I had to buy some paper and pens today, didnt have time for Staples to get their act together so I bought it at Office Max instead.

Following the success of the Apple Iphone, Apple’s new invention is The Apple Tablet. It has a 10 inch screen, and when I saw it looked just like a giant iPhone, with a black back. The tablet is as a secondary screen/touchpad for iMacs and MacBooks.
Its coming out late January, so get your credit cards out, its right around the corner. It will cost between $700-$1000 according to rumors on the Internet.

New Apple IPhone 4G 2010 Release – Will Offer 4G Network

The new Iphone 4g (aka phone identified as “iPhone3,1″) is coming out in 2010. Its going to rock the world, with even a better model. Does Apple stop? OmniVision Technologies will be making the 5 megapixel camera part of the new Iphone. Apple is expecting their Iphone sales to double next year in 2010. The new phone is expected to have 64G of memory.
The new Iphone is expected to come out late June in 2010. The Iphone claims to have 46% of the smartphone market in Japan. Even Verizon Wireless is currently testing a CDMA version of the iPhone 4G and they do admit to make network changes to bring the iphone to Verizon.

Origin of Ideas Of Avatar Movie – James Cameron, Blue Race

The movie Avatar, takes place in the year 2154 on the faraway moon of Pandora. There exists a blue race (called the Na’vi) of humanoids that have long tails that have special neural power. Their tails can connect with other animals or nature. This blue race is very connected with its past and of nature. There are lot of Native American and environmental references in the movie. The movie is based on science fiction stories. But there is also a spiritual and new age messages, intentionally or unintentionally being said in the movie.

Where does the blue race come from? If you do some digging (no pun intended), there is a claim of a family in Kentucky that had blue skin, also referred to the blue people of Kentucky. Their blue skin will come and go, but never stayed. The last name of the family was Fugate. According to a scientist, the reason why they had blue skin is they have a missing enzyme in the blood, that can sometimes make their appearance a dark blue or purple.

Anyone who has studied new stage material has also understood who the blue people race were. The Bhagavad-gita supports a very ancient race of a blue skinned race with its stories of Lord Krishna. Instead of being an Ang (el) Krishna was described like that of an ‘Avatar’ , god or demi-god. Who knows, but the movie was great. Amazing special effects and great to see on IMAX theater. What I did learn from the movie is 3d movies are getting better and better, and will launch a new revolution for movie making.

Final Fantasy XIII Release dates: December 17, 2009 for Japanese Version

And so another Final Fantasy series is yet to be released next year. If you are a gamer then you should know Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy is a role playing game or in short RPG. They release a lot of titles way back when Ninentdo’s NES is dominating the gaming industry. On the past all Final Fantasy titles are time base game and now they renovate it to add more spice on the game. Final Fantasy XIII is not a time base game anymore but it is now an interactive game meaning to say that you can attack by the enemy anytime or they can attack you if you are unprepared. They got this idea when they released the Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core on PSP but of course now is a different story because they will release it on PS3 and Xbox 360, which can provide more kick ass graphics compare to other platform. As a Fan of a Final Fantasy series I played many of their titles like Final Fantasy V up to Final Fantasy X which is all so amazing. The story line is way too better than the other RPG games. The game play is so cool that you will not notice that you consumed a lot of time playing the game. And finally and most important to a lot of gamers that the graphics is always progressing every title that they released. Final Fantasy series is the first game that uses CGI on their title. The official trailer of the Final Fantasy XIII is a must watch video to know what to expect from them. When I saw that trailer my world went upside down I don’t know what to say for the reason that I am stunned on the graphics and on the game play. I’m pretty sure that once it is released on the market it will obliterate all the titles that will be released on the same month whether your platform is PS3 or Xbox 360. Some big titles will need to reschedule their official release date later or earlier than the expected date so that their sale will not be affected. All in all Final Fantasy XIII will be phenomenon when it is out. Square Enix, which is the developer and the producer, is well known by their overwhelming RPG games. Some features will be maintained on the game like the legendary creatures for example Behemoth, which is there always since they released the older Final Fantasy titles. Having this kind of game is very addictive. In my own experience when I play Final Fantasy X it cost me around 30 hours to complete the game for the first time playing it, but if you hunger for 100% completion or getting all their ultimate weapons and maximizing all your characters stats it can double your time or even tripled. So expect this to Final Fantasy XIII that they will have a lot of side quest and a lot of challenging task to get what you want. Final Fantasy series will be known forever in the gaming industry for they are the first developer that made RPG game rocks and very addictive.
