B&O reinvents the landline phone

Landline phones are less and less used, because cell phones have taken over quite a while ago. I mean, why would you need a thing that’s stuck in the same place (ok, the same area, if it’s a cordless phone), when you have a phone in your pocket at all times?
Well, you just might change your mind if you take a look at what Bang & Olufsen has just done. You know, the people that worked with Samsung to make that incredibly-loud-amplifier-fitted mobile phone called Samsung Serenata a few years ago. They’re specialized in high-end products, and the BeoCom 5 landline phone isn’t an exception.
First of all, it looks amazing, and nothing like an ordinary phone. Second, its memory can store up to 400 contacts and uses Bang & Olufsen speakers to improve sound quality. Even more, it can use two landlines at once. We don’t know the price yet, but we’re sure it’s just like everything else Bang & Olufsen makes. Very expensive.
