GameStop kicks off its “Melee in Manhattan” series.
Just how good are you at Halo 3: ODST? If you think you’ve got what it takes, you might want to get involved with GameStop’s “Melee in Manhattan” tournaments. 2,200 stores across the US will be holding tournaments across the US to see which Master Cheif wannabe has the biggest… er, plasma rifle. Tournaments begin on Friday, October 2. Qualifying round continue every week thereafter culminating in a $5,000 tournament to be held in New York City in December. If you’re guilty of trash-talking the competition over Xbox live (and you know who you are!), here’s you;re chance to back up that mouth against the best Halo players in America and maybe walk away with enough scratch to buy your very own Warthog (or at least a really nice model of one)
