Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days drops for the DSi
On the surface it seems like the most unlikely combination in gaming history. Combine Square Enix’s legenadary Final fantasy characters with Walt Disney’s equally legendary stable of cartoon characters in an action packed RPG? It worked, though. The Kingdom Hearts series is one of the most popular and beloved franchises in gaming. If you’ve been waiting for the enxt installment in the series, then your wait is finally over. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days has hit store shelves and is available for the DSi today.
The game concerns Roxas, the “Nobody” of series protagonist Sora and takes place in the missing year when the main character was in suspended animation. The game’s creators promise that this installment will answer a lot of lingering questions about the series even as it opens up new mysteries about the Kingdom Hearts universe.
Real gadget enthusiasts will also appreciate that 358/2 Days is also the first Kingdom Hearts to offer a true multiplayer mode. Fans of the series can go head-to-head with each other as any of the members of Organization XIII, each with their own powers and capabilities.
