The Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS digital point and shoot camera brings you a new level of picture-taking experience.  This 10.0-megapixel camera lets you capture high-resolution images making it possible to print large photos (up to 13 x 19 inches) of family and friends.  It is equipped with Canon’s acclaimed Optical Image Stabilizer Technology that automatically corrects camera shake to avoid blurred and fuzzy shots.  Its PureColor LCD II screen offers superb color, high resolution and high contrast images that allows excellent control when framing your shots.  The Smart AUTO setting intelligently selects the proper camera settings ensuring perfect pictures in any shooting condition.  The advanced DIGIC 4 Face Detection Technology finds and tracks the faces of moving subjects to provide perfect focus before you take the shot.  DIGIC 4 also makes use of the i-Contrast (Intelligent Contrast Correction) scene-recognition technology, which improves focus speed and accuracy, as well as exposure and white balance for natural skin tones and perfect scene shots.  This model also features Red-eye Correction in three options to remove red-eye (caused by flash) from subjects in pictures.   It also has ISO 1600 setting and ISO 3200 Special Scene mode for shooting in low-light situations.
