The movie Avatar, takes place in the year 2154 on the faraway moon of Pandora. There exists a blue race (called the Na’vi) of humanoids that have long tails that have special neural power. Their tails can connect with other animals or nature. This blue race is very connected with its past and of nature. There are lot of Native American and environmental references in the movie. The movie is based on science fiction stories. But there is also a spiritual and new age messages, intentionally or unintentionally being said in the movie.

Where does the blue race come from? If you do some digging (no pun intended), there is a claim of a family in Kentucky that had blue skin, also referred to the blue people of Kentucky. Their blue skin will come and go, but never stayed. The last name of the family was Fugate. According to a scientist, the reason why they had blue skin is they have a missing enzyme in the blood, that can sometimes make their appearance a dark blue or purple.

Anyone who has studied new stage material has also understood who the blue people race were. The Bhagavad-gita supports a very ancient race of a blue skinned race with its stories of Lord Krishna. Instead of being an Ang (el) Krishna was described like that of an ‘Avatar’ , god or demi-god. According the the Bhagavad-gita he was a teacher who taught the workings of creation and gave an understanding of a self-realized soul. He taught the people the science of yoga in all its forms.
According to ancient occult myth, the blue race people who had yellow eyes, was one of the original races on earth and lived in Ancient Atlantis. They had a plan to make everyone like their own, so the races can experience their powers as well, so they mated with another race, which then spread across the world.
In the Bible, there are references to the giants that roamed the earth, according to some new age thought, an interpretation of this sentence is these giants were the blue race, which had psychic powers and such as teleportation, ESP, and great intuitive knowledge.
There are some myths that the ancient humans had tails, and there are also stories that people come from monkeys, which is why people have a tailbone. There is also a myth in the Jewish religion, in the Megilah, a book read on the Purim holiday, the character Vashti, the queen of the Persian empire at the time, had a tail.
Is all of humanity today have the blue race as ancestors? Do we all have potential to be psychic?
Who knows, but the movie was great. Amazing special effects and great to see on IMAX theater. What I did learn from the movie is 3d movies are getting better and better, and will launch a new revolution for movie making.
