The new version included a completely new architecture, as well as a much lower power consumption. More good news for PlayStation 3 fans this time. Sony plans to release another new version, that will have double hard drive storage capacity.<br />
November 3 is the release date of the new PlayStation 3 slim, that includes a 250 GB hard drive, for a $ 50 price increase. The 120 GB model will remain on the market, at $ 299.
