Google Nexus One Cell Better Than Iphone?

Google is trying to take Apple back to the 1980′s. The good news is the competition between Google and Apple will produce better technology and have more competitive prices, so the consumer is the real winner.
The Google Nexus One will be unlocked so it can be used for any carrier. This is something the Iphone (Must have ATT) is not doing.
The price for the Google unlocked cell phone is in the $500 price range.
One reason and the biggest why the Google phone is better than the Iphone is it holds at charge for at least 24 hours, and maybe more.
Dont think though you will have an installed app for Itunes on this phone.

Google’s Nexus One to be Launched this Week?

The much-anticipated Google mobile phone Nexus One is expected to be launched this week.  Google will be having a press event on January 5 at its Mountain View, California headquarters and it is widely expected that it will come out with the new phone during that event.  There was no mention of Nexus One in the invitation but there is one on the Android, Google’s operating system for mobile phones.  The event will be held prior to the CES exhibit that will be held in Las Vegas and this timing adds more excitement to the rumored and much-waited launch.  A collation of online sources suggest that the Nexus One will have the following features – GSM connectivity, Wi-Fi capability, 3.7 inches AMOLED touchscreen, compass, accelerometer and 5 megapixels camera.  How much it will cost and if it is to be offered unlocked, we may probably know before the week ends.

Google to Introduce its First Mobile Handset

Google is coming out with its very first mobile handset, the Nexus One. It will be made by HTC and will be run by a customised version of Android.  The phone is already being test driven by Google employees as reported from the Wall Street Journal.  This is being confirmed by a number of Googlers who are tweeting on the details of the Google phone.  The report also says Google will market the device itself (not through any mobile operator) so end-users will have to secure their own SIM cards for the phone to work.  The introduction of Nexus One in the market will surely have an impact on the smartphone market being currently dominated by Nokia and Apple.  Some of the tweets said the new device is an iPhone plus a bigger screen plus the Android OS.  If the release of the much-awaited phone happens in early 2010 as many are expecting, it will be a big threat to the iPhone and its Nokia counterparts.
